Kari Skjelbred Trondsen
Senior Vice President and Co-Head Client Relations
Kari Skjelbred Trondsen joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in April 2017. She has many years of experience within maritime sector and banking from positions as Relationship Manager Shipping and Offshore at ABN Amro Bank N.V., Oslo- and Athens Branch, and as Financial Controller at Norsafe AS. She holds an MSc in Financial Economics from BI Norwegian School of Management.
Stian Svennebye
Senior Vice President and Co-Head Client Relations
Stian Svennebye joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in February 2017. Prior to joining Maritime & Merchant Bank Stian worked for Quad Capital Management Advisors LLC in New York and RS Platou Markets in Oslo. Stian holds an MSc in Finance from the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley University and a BA in Business Economics from University of Exeter.
Erik D. Tang
Vice President Client Relations
Erik Tang joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in March 2018. He has held several positions in the bank and have worked with Client Relations since August 2021. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in finance from BI Norwegian Business School.
Maxwell Chr. Schrøder
Vice President Client Relations
Maxwell Chr. Schrøder joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in December 2018. He has extensive experience in banking and compliance, having served as Manager of the AML/KYC Department before transitioning to client relations. He holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass Business School and a BBA in International Business from The George Washington University.

Victor Dammann joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in September 2024. He holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), and a BSc in Shipping Management from NTNU in Ålesund.

Sander Johnsen joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in September 2024. He holds an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Bayes Business School in London, as well as a Bachelor`s degree in Business Law from BI Norwegian Business School.
Bjørn S. Havsgård
Executive Vice President, Credit & Business Development
Bjørn S. Havsgård joined Maritime & Merchant Bank in January 2018. He has more than 20 years of banking experience from senior relationship and management positions with Finansbanken, Privatbanken and Pareto Bank where he was instrumental in initiating and building a shipping and offshore portfolio. He holds an MSc in International Banking and Finance from Heriot-Watt University.
